Looking back at Gillian & Steven’s wedding from la Looking back at Gillian & Steven’s wedding from last September 🤍🌿 They wanted a cake that felt timeless and modern, but still had plenty of impact. We went tall with the tiers, then added pearls, white silk ribbon and fresh florals to bring in softness and detail. And they definitely made the most of the flavour choices: Vanilla, Sticky Toffee, Biscoff, White Chocolate & Raspberry and Salted Caramel & Flake. A statement cake in every sense, and such a beautiful set-up to be part of. For a wedding cake that deserves its own moment, secure your 2026 or 2027 date via the link in my bio. www.thekiltedcakecompany.co.uk Photographer @ClairehannonPhotography Venue @radstonehotel Decor @thistleflowerweddings #thekiltedcakecompany #luxuryweddingcakescotland #luxuryweddingscotland #luxurycakesscotland #weddingcakescotland #statementweddingcakes
The wedding cake, but make it a statement piece 🤍 The wedding cake, but make it a statement piece 🤍 Soft ivory, delicate texture, sculptural florals and trailing silk ribbon come together in this beautifully modern design, proving you don’t need colour or elaborate decoration to make an impact. Minimal, romantic and almost too beautiful to cut into! www.thekiltedcakecompany.co.uk Image by @eliza_t_wedding_photography #thekiltedcakecompany #luxuryweddingcakedesigner #luxuryweddingcakes #weddingcakedesignerscotland #luxuryweddingcakesscotland
A little look back at Emma & Jamie's wedding day 🌹 A little look back at Emma & Jamie's wedding day 🌹 This was one of those weddings where everything worked so well together. The soft draping on the cake, the flowers by @fauna_flower_folk and the setting at @gilmertonhouse all had the same feel, which made the whole set-up come together beautifully. Emma & Jamie had fallen in love with a cake I'd created for the recent Your Scottish Wedding magazine shoot at The Collectors Hall. Rather than recreating it, we used it as the starting point, adjusting the proportions and draping to suit their wedding and finishing the tiers with a subtle embossed texture using my favourite @prop.options rolling pin. For their flavours, they chose Dairy Free Biscoff, Scottish Tablet, Lemon and Chocolate Salted Caramel, so there was something for everyone around the table. I always love it when one design inspires another, but it's even more rewarding when it becomes something completely new for another couple. BEYOND THE EXPECTED. Three white tiers might soun BEYOND THE EXPECTED. Three white tiers might sound simple, but hundreds of individually shaped and placed wafer paper strips make this one incredibly intricate - all shaped and placed by hand to create that incredible texture and movement. It's still elegant and romantic, but there's nothing ordinary about it. My 2026 and 2027 diary is open for couples who want something beyond the expected 🤍🌸 www.thekiltedcakecompany.co.uk Venue @crossbasketcastle Photographer @craigandevasanders #thekiltedcakecompany #luxuryweddingcakescotland #luxuryweddingscotland #luxurycakesscotland #weddingcakescotland
You probably won't like working with me if... ... You probably won't like working with me if... ...you're after exactly what everyone else is having. ...you think flavour doesn't matter because "it's only wedding cake." ...you're looking for the cheapest quote. ...you'd rather choose a cake from a catalogue than create one together. ...you'd rather play it safe than create something people will remember. But... If you want a cake that's designed around your wedding, your style and your ideas, we'll probably get on just fine. I'm Alison, the face behind The Kilted Cake Company, and I've spent the last 10 years creating modern wedding cakes for couples who want something a little different. Let's make your cake the one everyone remembers.
