To me, the flavours that infuse your wedding and the ingredients we use are just as important as the design. Over the years, I have curated a selection of sumptuous flavours that will delight your guests. From classic vanilla to decadent chocolate sponge, I offer a palette of crowd-pleasing flavours to suit every taste.
Your wedding cake will always be baked by myself in The Kilted Cake Company studio on the week of your wedding. Each of my standard height wedding cakes ( 5-6” tall) are made using four delicious sponges, where every layer is generously filled with buttercream and a jam or curd that has been sourced from a local independent supplier or the award-winning ‘The Cherry Tree’ or ‘Bonne Maman’ range. Homemade caramel or butterscotch sauces are also used as filling options, dependent on your flavour choice. It will then be sealed in a rich Belgian White Chocolate ganache before being covered in Massa Ticino by Carma fondant, which is used some of the most prestigious worldwide wedding cake makers because of its quality and taste.

Upon visiting The Kilted Cake Company studio for your wedding cake consultation, you will be spoilt with a box of six wedding cake flavours from the above list to take home. These cake flavours are chosen at my discretion and will change depending on popular choices. If you’d like to try a slice of cake ahead of placing your order, then I have cake tasting boxes that are available via collection or postage on a select number of dates throughout the year. These are advertised via my social media pages and are dependent on availability, where you can purchase a box via our online shop.
Please note, the kitchen is not certified as a gluten-free kitchen and I am unfortunately unable to bake any allergy-free cakes. All my cakes contain gluten, soya and milk. Nuts are also handled in the kitchen; therefore cakes and bakes may also include traces of nuts.
